Live Work

ROCK

  • Vocalist (one of the three female lead vocalists) in Rock Band ‘Planet of Women’.
    • Gigs include:
      • The Download festival at Donnington Park two years running. Other artists included Black Sabbath and Billy Idol.
      • Supported Rock Band ‘Thunder’ on their 2005 tour at venues including: Bristol Academy, Southampton Guildhall, Norwich UEA.
      • Performed at Rock In The Castle, a festival in Scarborough with the Wildhearts and Terrorvision.
      • Supported Rock Band ‘The Quireboys’ on their 2005 tour at venues including Liverpool Carling Academy.
      • Supported Graham Bonnet (Rainbow) on his 2007 tour, and sang his backing vocals
      • Headlined ‘The Mean Fiddler’ in London, ‘The Garage’ in Islington, ‘The Borderline’ in London, 'The Barfly' in Camden, 'The Waterrats' in London and venues all over the UK.
    • Acoustic sessions live on Kerrang Radio, Radio 6 (Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden’s show – we were the first band to perform live), Total Rock (several times for various DJs including Andy King) and many other local radio stations.
    • Came 2nd place in Virgin Radio Breakfast Show competition to support Bon Jovi at the Milton Keynes Bowl
    • Recorded a jingle used by Christian O’Connell for the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show
    • Recorded a jingle used by Gary Crowley for his London Live radio show.
    • Three track demo produced by Ace, lead guitarist and main writer for Skunk Anansie.
    • Single of the Week in the Independent.
    • Single got to number 9 in the Rock charts.
  • Backing Singer and backing vocal arrangements for rock band ‘Thunder’ at Rock City in Nottingham (which lead to supporting them on tour with Planet of Women).
  • Backing Singer and backing vocal arrangements for rock band ‘The Quireboys’ on their 2005 UK tour.
  • Backing Singer and backing vocal arrangements for ‘Graham Bonnet (of Rainbow)’ on his 2007 UK tour.

POP

  • Collaborated on a track (‘Living in your Fantasy’) with Gary White (writer for S Club Juniors) and Ed Johnson (writer for Will Young and signed writer for 19 Management)
  • I have written an album’s worth of pop songs which I intend to pursue as a songwriter.
  • Lead Female Vocalist for 'The Tarantinos' on  tour all over Europe.
  • Agnetha in an ABBA tribute band, performing all over the UK.
  • Performed as Britney Spears in a Britney Spears tribute band performing all over the UK.
  • Performed as Pink in 'Think Pink' tribute band, performing all over the UK.

GOSPEL

  • Performed at the Albert Hall with London Community Gospel Choir.
  • Completed the Intermediate Level 1 and 2 courses in Gospel Singing and Harmonies held by LCGC.
  • President of gospel choir ‘Revelation’ at Warwick University (100+ members), where I performed solos, conducted the choir and arranged songs for the choir to sing (as well as singing amongst the choir both soprano and alto).

INDIE

  • Lead Singer of Indie Band ‘The SallyGardens’. Performed various gigs around the Midlands, including: Warwick University, Edwards, The Flapper and Firkin.

VARIOUS OTHER VOCAL

  • Lead Singer in soul band chosen to perform at Jules Oliver’s 30th birthday.
  • Lead Singer in various function bands performing in bars and at weddings (both in the evening and in the church).

Studio Work

  • Dueted with Jamie Oliver on a track used as part of his stage show for The Good Food Show at the NEC and Earls Court for two years running.
  • Vocals and Voiceover work for Cartoons for Aardman Films (Wallace and Gromit)
  • Voice Over work for Advertising.com Intl Ltd’s training video.
  • Vocals on theme tune for Petrolheads (hosted by Neil Morrissey).
  • Voice Over work for Jamie Oliver Podcast
  • I have had several paid studio sessions with various producers (including Ben Adcock, Mark Nicholson, Leigh Haggerwood, Gary White, Ed Johnson).
  • Sang several jingles for Warwick University Student Radio, which was live on FM for one Month.
  • Voice over work on an Animatrix advert for Corgi Models - advertising their Harry Potter figurines

TV Work

  • Played a Mum (speaking part) in a TV ad for Harry Potter Toys by Corgi Models.
