Nina Marie Clarke

Nina Marie Clarke is a young but experienced vocalist who has performed under a variety of guises throughout her singing career, from a gospel chorister with soul to a rock chick with balls. She creates an impact wherever she sings, whether she's entertaining a crowd of rockers at the Download Festival with her band Planet of Women, or singing 'Big Band' style for Jules Olivers' 30th birthday party or singing with funk/soul band the Tarantinos in shows in Austria and Switzerland.

Nina's versatile voice adapts effortlessly to any style or genre of music, and sounds equally impressive both live and in a studio. She is also comfortable singing both lead and backing vocals, as well as working away from the mike as a professional songwriter.

Nina is available for any type of vocal project, including:

  • Voiceovers - commercial and corporate
  • Live performances - private and corporate parties/events
  • Lead singer- studio work
  • Backing vocals - any genre
  • Songwriting
  • TV Work

When she grew up singing the harmonies to Hollies' songs with her Dad, Nina had little idea that years later she would be fronting her own band and singing backing vocals for rock legends. But this early talent for creating harmonies first led her to manage and conduct the gospel choir at Warwick University whilst she studied there, and now means she is able to write multiple part harmonies more or less on the spot - a skill that has put her in good stead for jobs like singing backing vocals for rock bands Thunder/Quireboys/Graham Bonnett (Rainbow).

When Nina isn't sharing her powerful voice and vibrant stage presence with a live audience, she is most likely to be in a studio recording voiceovers or helping other singers lay down their own tracks. She has worked with Ed Johnson and Gary White at 19 Management, recorded a duet with Jamie Oliver for The Good Food Show and recorded stings for Jamie's podcast.

Should you hire Nina for your project - whether short- or long-term, live or studio-based, corporate or commercial - you are sure to be impressed by her hardworking, professional attitude, as well as her vocal talents and friendly personality.

"I enjoy every type of vocal work, and put my heart and soul into every project. Singing is the love of my life and the high quality that you receive from me for your vocal or voiceover will be testament to this. I look forward to working with you in the future."
